The bases of my Thesis
My thesis research has been focused on lighting and the visual environment for the aging. My Thesis project is a DESIGNER’S HANDBOOK OF “LIGHTING PRINCIPALS FOR DESIGNING
FOR THE ELDERLY”
Within my final thesis, I will produce a set of “Elderly Lighting Principles”, similar to a “Pattern Language”. An example of one space will be included in this presentation in Boston.
The program is built around “A Day with Charlie and Beverly” and their activities during the day in multiple spaces in a retirement community.
